John Deere 2 cylinders and roll guards

Has anyone ever mounted a roll guard to a John Deere 630/730 or similar tractor. Thinking about putting a roll guard and canopy on ours instead of an umbrella and wondered if anyone else had done this. Also, for those who know, when John Deere brought the Roll Guard, were they available for two cylinders. Responses welcome.

I seen a picture of a B with one on it in the photo ads a while back. A guy from Leachville, AR had it for sale. He has a G for sale on there right now, you may want to contact him. Ad #72438.

That"s a "grey" area at best. The tractor chassis it"s self is every bit as important to a rop system as the rop frame it"s self.
The rear axle attachment points and method of attachment will also "make or break" the system.
Maybe a hesitant yes......if nothing else it will provide some protection from sun, rain and dirty birds.

I've never done it, but I'd guess it can be done. A JD dealer might even know of a way of getting ROPS for it. There is a big incentive (liability) for manufacturers to provide retrofit ROPS.

The link below claims to sell some. I don't know anything about them, it just came up first on a Google search for John Deere 730 ROPS.
