I know it got rough yesterday but wha-?

Got told I should get started - I was gonna finish the roof on a shed to store the lumber first, but dodging the rains to get that roof done isn't working too well. Been at it a month to cover a 16x24 with a steel roof.
 
Are you getting all this rain where you are in Iowa too Dan? I woke up this morning with 8 inches of water in my basement. My in laws just finished their basement from last years flood and it's waist high this morning and getting higher. Humboldt county drainage systems are all garbage.
 
Humboldt county? I would expect if anybody could take water by the foot, you guys should. After all the meteor that dropped the water table to 600-feet below ground near Manson should give you lots of drainage.

Here I'm not that fortunate. My piston-pump wells are standing with water less than 4 feet from the top of the ground.

Yep. Lots of rain here. I'm not far from Lytton and we got over 2 inches last night. Over a half-inch since 11AM too.

Man I wish I had a nice big machine shed right now.
 
Not any better South of Ft dodge in webster county. More water than 93. Looks like a good year to seed catfish & duck seed.
