just wondering what is the oldest cow out there that you guys have every had that calfed, we just had a 15 yr old have a healthy heafer calf.

The cow under the bale had 16 or 17 calves and was 19 years old when she went to town last year.
Sold an old herdford cow that was 21 years old about 8 years ago. She came from my grandfathers herd and I didn't want to get rid of her. She had her last calf at 20 years and never had one the 21st year. She might have missed a year in there but had at least 18 calves.

I have several cows between 20 and 25 years old that have a calf every year should sell them but hate to.Have several more in their teens that are doing fine also

Beef or dairy cows? I've had 3 make it to 15 or more years old, one that I know calved at 15+, died at 16. (mine are dairy cows)

I know Dad has had some in their early 20's have healthy calves.

I have one thats 19 and going strong
I take care of my Grandmothers cows, and some them I have no idea how old they are, Granddad took the records with him 9 1/2 years ago. I do know this, Granddad gave me a year old heifer when I was 13, I just turned 30 and I am about to wean a calf off her. She don't get around too fast any more but she is still pretty sound and I am pretty sure she is bred back.

WE had a cow bought as a broken mouth and we just got rid of her after owning her another 16 years had a calf all the time we had her kept several heifers out of her some of them are low teens
