Has anybody used one of these? Just wanted to know if the silver like bowl on the filter should it be pointing up when placed back into filter can? I put it in and started tractor everything seems ok. Just didnt want any oil flow restrictions.

It might help to tell what machine the filter is used on?

There is usually a bail on the filter to facilitate removal from the filter housing. The bail should be up.

Since its a bypass filter, oil flow restrictions aren't much of a problem.

A C3 is used on a Ford N (9, 2, 8) and a MF with Continental Z series engine Z129 and larger. Its also available as a F3 filter housing to fit a bypass filter to any engine you wish.
