I had the time of my life today, driving in the rodeo parade in Cherokee, Ia. Some time back my brother aquired an "H" Farmall amongst our antique Deere Herd. It looked so out of place, that we painted it JD green w/yellow wheels. Last week I had some decals made that read "Green with envy" made and entered it in the parade. Some saw the humor of the situation and had a good laugh, while some (Green & Red) didn't see the humor in it and were upset to say the least. As bad off as the World is today, we need to be able to have a laugh here and there. I can see more fun coming with this old Farmall. Dale

I would have thought it was funnier if it had been a JD painted red :>)) but it"s all in fun. Some folks take themselves waaaayyy to serious. Glad you had a good time.

Jeez, half million Farmalls and someone fusses over a green Farmall. With a name like Green With Envy, it sounds like a pulling tractor.

Talk about "off-color"--- how about THIS:

Humor is now illegal.

On the serious side, if them guys don't put the money in your back pocket, the food in your mouth, or the roof over your head, feed them fish. I don't know exactly what the means, but Mom yelled it out one night at a bar when she was snockered, then she threw her beer mug at some really big guy and walked out and left me in there to get beat up. Next day when she picked me up from jail, she said it was all in fun. Lookin back on it, I guess it was. Oh, I'm just joking. I didn't go to jail. Got the snot beat out of me though and my fake teeth look better than the originals.

Around here anything painted JD green just increased in value by at least 50%. So I would say you done that old Farmall a great justice. LOL

One of the guys in our club aquired an old H that had long before been painted green and yellow. We nicknamed it "Lucifer".

Will try to get a picture posted when my daughter sends them to me. Thanks for all your comments, it was great fun.
