Well finally got on ebay today ,don't know what the trouble was,but thanks for the help. Was checking for Oliver 60 tractor(checking prices).I have one I may be selling, but needs lots of work,engine rebuild ,tires, one rear wheel,ect. Have all parts,except side curtains. It came with aluminum hood(how rare is that)? It is i948 year model and is a widefront axel row crop. What' it worth? Any ideas?

My opinion of ebay lately is that it is a good place to buy, but not a good place to sell. I think you would do better to determine a value for the Oliver, and then list it either here or on craigslist. If you decide to go with ebay, check the fees for listing and the final value fees first. Ebay will eat you alive if you give them the chance.

I've had excellent luck on craigslist. Been getting rid of surplus stuff. Most things are gone within a week of when I post them.

In what category are the tractors and parts listd on Craigslist Amd is it Craigslist.com? Henry

Henry,

They are listed under Farm and Garden, in about the middle of the page. For example, in the Ashville, NC list there is an L275? Kubota for 9K.

It's craigslist.org but if you slip up and put .com, it might still go through.
