Hydraulics on an IH Tractor

I have an old either 706 or 760 Ih tractor. The hydraulics for the loader work fine. There is a selector handle the the right of the drivers seat the choose between the loader and the rear hydraulics. The rear hydraulics wont even lift the head of my haybine, whats wrong??? Where do I look first?? Thanks Guys

I have put many thousands of hours on a 706 with a loader and for the life of me I don't know what you mean by a selector lever to right of seat. My loader is conected to the hyd. couplers on both sides of tractor under fuel tank and if you want to use rear remote outlets you have to unplug the loader.
