can anyone id these lights for me please?
they are metal , have sealed beam units inside with three connectors but i dont know if they are dipped or not, they have 'butlers england' written on the rubber and ge 4440x , tractor , 12-v made in usa written on the back of the sealed beam unit. they are tiny , well , the lense is 4 - 4.5 inches across.
im assuming they are from a tractor but they seem a tad small for any tractors i know of.
oh , and they are blue.

The bulb/lamp # should give you the data on the light output if it is printed on the back of the bulb. Connect to a 12v battery and see what you get.Light, pattern, and if it is a two level light it will have three pins/wires with one being common for the upper/lower filaments

Butlers made the lamps for many British tractors, including Ford, M-F. David Brown and I.H. they do dip. By the colour I guess they are from a Ford with grill mounted head lamps. Sealed beam units I think you can still get, but not the whole lamp.
