Looks somewhat like the Essex Tri - directional that many of you quietly speak of. Oops, I may have said too much. Bill
 
I remember there being a big article in Michigan Farmer one time about what tractors and equipment would be in the 80s. There were plenty of artist drawings. The tractors looked a lot like the one in the first picture. They envisioned tillage being done by ultrasonic waves. I had saved that article, but like a lot of my paper collection, it got tossed. (Not by me.)
 
It should only be mentioned in the presence of knowledgeable members.
There was no mass production of those units so far as I know.
 
I remember the Ford Futura (IIRC) station wagon from the 1964 worlds fair in Flushing Meadows NY. Even used to have a brochure about it I got while there.
 
They did make a Futura didn't they? It didn't look like that, but there was a kind of deluxe Falcon that was a Falcon Futura, I'm pretty sure.
