Can the y use the same digger for carrots that they use for taters? Sure looks a lot similar.

So do they top them and dig them then? There are some grown around here for Gerber baby food, used to be a lot for packaging. Here, they use harvesters with belts that lift them out of the ground by the tops.

Yes, this one is a potato harvester as well, they just use a different share for carrots and parsnips.
