Harvest 50 years ago

I just realized I took this photo 50 years ago. My first harvest with the Case 730 and 460 pull type combine. Thats the Cockshutt 40 on the hopper wagon. A 110 piece puzzle took me just over 14 minutes. Colour is not the greatest as it was my cheap little Kodak Instamatic 44 on 126 film.

(quoted from post at 03:32:05 11/24/23) Looks like nice color to me. We were all so much younger then, even the machinery shows it!
I still have and use that hopper wagon for chopping oats. The Cockshutt 40 sits in the back of the shed having been replaced by the 50 for running the hammer mill. The Case combine went on to a new owner probably 20 years ago although I stll have a partial parts machine. That 730 Case, even though identical to the one I have now, is not the same tractor. It was traded on a 930 three years after the photo. The 730 I have now was my uncle's.

Puzzle took me 11:29 minutes. I like your puzzle piece shapes. Wish I could convert Majorman's puzzles to pieces like yours. Thanks for posting.

Nice photo. How do you copy to digital? Do you make a color photo first or do you copy from the 126 film negative and transfer to a positive? Whatever you do, it sure turned out nice.

Thanks Ron. My old flatbed scanner does a good job on either negatives, slides or prints. I believe I just scanned the print from the photo album on this one. I use a little photo editing in the windows 10 program to pull up the saturation, highlights, contrast, etc. as the original was a little over exposed.
