Need help to identify radiator. Massey Harris? I'm new to this forum. Tag reads engine radiator E30.Thanks in advance. I hope you can see the pictures.

Hello M80 welcome to YT! No pictures. Did you
purchase or acquire the radiator and are trying to
properly ID it for future use? Here is a
short explanation of the picture posting directions for
this forum. Pictures post through the ..Browse or
Choose files.. button just below where it says ..Upload
Photos/Videos.. down lower in the ..New post and reply
windows. Clicking that will give you a choice to select
the file or folder the pictures are stored in on your PC
or phone. I have attached a screenshot of the button
as it appears on my iPhone. Then select the photo
from the file and ..Add.. it. They cannot be pasted into
the text area as a file. I would suggest posting one
picture in a reply, then 2 in the next if you are adding
more just to test out the size limits.

What makes you think it is for a MH? The E30 may be
nothing more than a part number used by the company
that made it. I am not familiar with the Massey Harris
tractors but I will make these general comments from
observations from how radiators mount and position in
a Farmall. The side flanges or mount metal seems
wrong for a tractor. The mount surface of the flange
bends out which would increase the width of the tin
finish work to cover it, so normally on a tractor the
flange would bend in. Also on most older tractors there
is no support structure in front of the radiator for
something to bolt to. Most pre-60s tractors have bolts
through framing coming out of the bottom of the
radiator and the top is positioned with bolts through
the side of the hood or grill sheet metal. Some use
rods that go back to some structure behind the engine
to steady the top. To me this looks more like a combine
or truck radiator.

I'm going to say that goes to something other than most tractors and would fit more like construction /industrial equipment or automotive purpose like a truck excavator or other such. It would take more like a 100 HP or so to keep that warm in use. A smaller Massey Harris is n ot ever going to get warmed up without a hot thermostat in it.

Thank you for the replies. I think the E30 was my shot in the dark for Massey Harris application. I bought this at auction some years back.It came from public works repair shop. Your right about its commercial application. I forgot to mention it call for a no pressure low pressure radiator cap. So that its not for automotive. My hopes is to identify it. To get it a new home.I would hate to scrap it. Appreciate any other ideas to help tell what it goes with.
