Hope it's got more power than a Deere I knew of here. The owner said that in good corn, they couldn't take eight rows. The trucks wouldn't go slow enough. Very few Deere choppers around here. Claas rules the roost.

Neighbors I work for have a head like that on a JD 8500. We usually go between 3.5-5 mph taking eight rows. We pull 18 ft wagons with 200+ HP MFWD tractors. Drive through bunkers and it takes 30 seconds to empty wagon and you're racing back to the field. When bunker gets more than six feet in it, you start getting stuck and have to dump on the end. We never get stuck chopping hay.

I help a local cattle feeder cut silage and grond earlage. He uses a 990 JD. cutting silage he uses a 30ft kemper head and earlage a 16 row as they plant on 20inch rows. If the go to 30 inch it's a 12 row. Quite a operation. I haul with a 8330 and JBS spreader, will hold 26 tons of earlage.
