Does anybody know the story behind this? I showed it to Gary Biewer and he said he'd never seen one quite like it. I would guess it's from the 1940's. Anybody know anything about the company and what the puller was designed/used for?

nice little puller , but it has limited uses. jaws are non adjustable. might work for pulling steering wheels. and no impack use with that
one. might be specific to something.

Looks rather durable for most jobs. I don't use impacts on pullers .To many things can go wrong to fast for them to me. Mostly slip off in use. I broke the jaws off both ends of one the other day pulling just a simple sprocket off an auger shaft on the combine. The sprocket popped when it first moved and for a bit after that. New one will just slip on and hold fine and will come off better if there is a next time.

I have one of those pullers. Purchased at an auction over 40 years ago. Adjustable width and length to use
with different arms. I modified a deep impact socket to fit over the t-bar to use a 1/2 inch impact wrench or
a breaker bar on. Very versatile tool. I have used it on many jobs over the years. I have larger pullers that
i use on bigger projects.
