I'm starting to get excited about the show this weekend. The weather looks like it's going to cooperate and not be 105F like most of the shows this year. We may even get a little rain here at home Thursday
before I leave on Friday. That would be icing on the cake. I hope to see my YT friends there. Safe travels.

Good looking Ford!! My Dad had one when I was little, when I would ride with him, he had a bag of apples under the hood and we would stop once in a while and have a snack. Older brother was 2 years older than me and Dad let him run it. He came in the driveway too fast and ran into the gas barrel and knocked the stand over, Dad wasn't happy and Mom was mad as a wet then!!
 
Miss Candy has a 1953 Jubilee too. Wish we were closer. We would participate in the festivities.

Hers has a Hi-Lo Sherman and a matching Dearborn bale trailer. They are a great parade and hayride combination.
 
Mine is a '54, an almost Jubilee. Yours looks sharp. I have a 1946 Ferguson 2 bottom moldboard on mine.
 
It's a bit of a trip, but I'm considering taking the family down. Does anyone know if there is a proper web site with more official info? It seems they aren't maintaining https://texasedtea.org/ and we don't go anywhere near farcebook.
 
Their website is out of date but the times and the link to the map are accurate. Gates open at 9:00am. The address is 1717 Eberhardt Rd. From I 35 exit to Nugent, go west to Eberhardt and follow the signs to
the right. They have food trucks, swap meet, and run the big stationary engines. Tractor pull all day. Parade at noon.
 
Confirmed. We will be going down Sat morning and we'll be staying overnight down there before heading back Sun morning.
 
Awesome show, has to be if it can keep a 5yo and 7yo interested for six hours. Clean up at the hotel then find some dinner...
