Looks more like an IHC truck to me from the late 50's or early 60's.

Looks to be from somewhere other than USA.
License plate is too wide.

Agreed, Bedford. The cab (minus the fenders and hood) has obvious styling cues from the 1954 and 1955 first series chevy trucks, with the round cab and 1 piece windshield. That would make sense since Bedford was a subsidiary of GM at the time.
