I would think the crib would have a major rot problem where those boards come to a point in the middle of the sides. I think the corn would rot pretty bad with the cupola off the top too.

Looks like 2 sections, usually around here they were each
about 6 feet wide with a gap just wide enough to walk
through to get more air flowing through the corn. One like
that would have about a 10 foot driveway between the
two sections.

That is a great crib.
It would withstand high winds with the way it is built in that herringbone fashion.

There never was a cupola. Thats where you set the elevator up to fill the crib. When crib is full you nail an old piece of tin over hole.
