Need something a little stronger than original on headlight bulb replacement .I have new lenses already so thats not the problem.anyone have experience with this?

Not sure what year you have, but I put ODX LED bulbs in my 2020 F150 from the day I brought it home.

Lieftime warranty and I've had them 3 years now and no failures except fog light bulbs, but they changed the design and replaced mine for free.

Cost me just under $500 Canadian to do low, high and fogs.

They are wicked bright. I don't even use the high beams and I turned my back rack mounted light bar to face backwards to use as a worklight now because it was no longer needed.

Bad part is, be prepared to have most oncoming vehicles flash their high beams at you.

Does BLINDING oncoming traffic with your low beams make you feel good?

We have a 2016 Jeep, and the headlights are so dim , you nearly have to strike a match to see them when they are on. I have purchased a pair of LED bulbs to install, and see if that makes them any better. Our other vehicles have excellent headlights with just factory equipment. Bought the bulbs from Amazon, thinking they cost $50-$60 bucks.

I've tried the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs, which offer a modest improvement in light but have shorter life than OE bulbs. I went back to OEM on our Acadia after the Silverstars burned out; it's far too much work to change bulbs on that car to use the non-OE bulbs.

Most of us here at YT have experience with that. We're old!

The Silverstars are a tad better than oem but if you want to see better replace the light assembly's. It's not just the outside that is damaged by the sun the inside reflector is too.

I won't comment on those who put illegal led's in there.

There is a disclaimer on the ODX website that in a roundabout way essentially admits that these lights are not legal for use on the road but it is the responsibility of the consumer, not
the company, to determine this and that ODX isn't responsible if you break the law.

I have both a 2001 and a 2003 Dakota and both have had the complete assemblys replaced. The o3 I can see at night with, the o1 could not. Found out from Orileys that they have regular or bright bulbs. I bought the bright bulbs, don't know anything more about them but the bright are better than what was in the 01 but still not as good as the 03, still not bright enough for safe night driving. The assemblys came from different places and I do not know where the mechanic got them but they are made differently. The 2000 that I had that was totaled when a driver ran a stop sign had better lights than even the replacements in the 01 and same units would fit all three trucks.

That is extremely rude and, where I live, illegal. Highway patrol now has a way to measure your lights and will cite you, which is quite expensive. They also have a machine to measure the level of tint on your side windows and those tickets are expensive as well.

We started driving all there was was an incandesent bulb for headlights and now they are blindingly bright on things like they can't see or something. I hate night driving just because of meeting these lights and the fools with fog/driving lights that are ill adjusted. I miss my Semi to drive at night it has some real bright brights which I seldome used. Mostly for finding street /road signs at night to get to locations for delivery. Or if I was out in the back country in western or desolate places needing the additional light. I used to get those Clear blues or such for the lights in it. They had a white light to them. I think the box said they were 55wat on dim and with 4 of them were 35 watt on bright. Still worked well.

Sure does. is that the answer you are looking for?

And if they bother you, guess you better contact Ford, Kenworth, International, Volvo, etc and tell them to stop installing LED headlights from the factory.

And yes, I pass many police and they don't seem to have an issue.

So if I gotta be blinded by the other 70% of new vehicles on the road, then I deserve good headlights too.
