When I'm done, I'm done

This time of the year I should be done mowing, except for a job do every month. With all the rain we have had on the west coast of Calif., some bottom
land, I have mowed three times, and it just keeps growing. Now with the last 3 inches of rain we got last week, or so, I see fields greening up again.
May be enough weeds to have to mow, hope not. I have other things I would rather be doing. I guess I should be happy I have work in this economy. Stan

From what I keep seeing about economies in other countries I wonder if perhaps we have it better than most of the world right now.

The little boys have been crying wolf for too long now. It's time to accept the fact that the economy isn't going
to collapse, move on and enjoy reality.

The economy will ebb and flow. At some point it will swing wildly, and be a collapse.

Probably best to enjoy the ride while we can, and have a bit of a pragmatic understanding and prepared for the extreme stuff if it happens in our lifetime.

Which relates to grass mowing - we see the same ebb and flow of rainfall and temps that makes grass grow or be dormant. Some years are going to be different.

Locally we havent mowed the lawn very often at all. First was too cold, then way too wet - mowed twice after that. Then way too dry. Caught a few rains to keep things from dying - mowed once. Now too hot. Pastures and lawns are pretty small this year. And we have had it all!
