Sometimes it is a field repair that never gets a permanent repair because if it works dont fix it.
 
I think we all have a few temporary permanent repairs around the farm. We all do what we got to do to make something work.
 
In the 'heat of battle' we fix it enough to get through. Thinking we will fix it right later. Later never comes. We just keep on....
 
I pleed no comment. My brother and dad are cobble kings of the world. They both can cobble with the best of them. I've done some but must not be good enough at it. I also tend to look at it like I would rather fix it right the first time and save some time. I guess some of that comes from dealing with DOT guys at scales and road side inspections which are never fun.
