Kubota M4900

Considering buying a Kubota M4900 FWA for shredding, putting out round bales and light disking. I'm looking for input (positive or negative) on this tractor. Thanks

I owned a Kubota M4900 for several yrs. It had the syncro-reverser that failed at 1500 hrs of use. I used this 4900 to pull a disc hay cutter & handle many 4X5+ rd bales. AC system left a little to be desired in Texas Summers. I traded it for a M7040 which is 20HP larger with hyd reverser that I like much better.

The AC on my little Kubota isn't impressive
either. I painted the top of the cab white and
added a little insulation under the top. Marginal
AC on hot sunny days. Better than nothing.

You did not mention cab most were open station ., One of the toughest tractors Kubota ever made. Have had several go over 5000 hrs in chicken house operations. Like the other poster says if it is cab the air is marginal in that the area right behind the front mounted battery stops up and cuts air flow but overall tough tractors., The front axel is light years ahead of most others in that it is full gear and no U joints to go out, allows full power at any steering angel
