Hello anybody know where I can buy rent dummy shaft and clips for replacing differential shaft

Probably more people on the JD page of this site that would know . Do you have the JD service manuals ?
The free online JD parts book will show if there were upgraded components .

It can be done without the special tools. The circlip holders can be fabricated. They need to be JUST wide enough to keep the rings spread enough to get where they need to be and no more which could stretch them.

It takes patience and attention to detail to get the springs and balls under control in the shift collars on the top shaft, as well

It takes the same dummy shaft as a 3020,,and it would be very difficult to do one with out the shaft,one snap ring tool will do it using it on the last (rear) one letting the other snap rings slide on the shaft with some oil added as you go works well,, I use an old car scissor jack to push the shaft through during reassembly. I'm in central Ohio,,I would loan you mine if your close..
