970 case seat mounted in 830

Hello has anyone mounted a seat from a 70 seires in a 830? the bottom part is shot and I have a 970 parts tractor ,it looks like it would fit but not sure about the pto leaver. Thanks Bryan

If it looks close,then you can make it work. Do a 'test run'. Just set the donor seat into your tractor and see. If it fits,bolt it down. If not,modify it to fit.

Put one in my 1030 40 years ago. Had to trim for the pto lever on a 1030 and the sensing lever on the right side. Have to put spacers under it to get it high enough. Since then I have made new shafts and side plates for the original seat suspension to make it like new.
