J. J. Wright and Sons Ltd, East Dereham, Norfolk, England took on the Case tractor agency in 1936 and held a demonstration at a local farm owned by one of the directors. This is a picture taken on that day of a Case tractor and plough with the director, Mr Walker, driving the tractor.

That would have been a pretty big set up for then with a 3 bottom plow. Grandpa bought his D-4 just about that same time and had a 4 bottom Oliver plow for it in 16 inch bottoms. Dad still has the plow though it has not been used since the 80's maybe even the late 70's.

Doing a nice job plowing rows straight ,up and over nice .

Pulling 3 bottoms I would say it is an L yet it looks like a C

The distance between fenders would be a C. L was wider. Plowed many an acre with an L and a 4 bottom JD trip plow with a packer (clod buster) and a pony drill.
