TO20 Front Pump Installation

I just got the tractor put back together after putting the new crank pulley and splined hub on so that I can mount a front pump. When I insert the shaft, it doesn't look like there's enough sticking out past the radiator to allow a coupler to be installed (I got this shaft from Steiner, said it would fit a TO20). Does this look right? I assume the shaft needs to be inserted into the splined hub as far as it will go?

If it is in as much as the diameter of the shaft it is in far enough to be fine. Alignment is more important than depth in this case.

If the shaft isn't bottomed out in the hub, what's going to keep it from moving towards the thing while it's running, causing the coupler to contact the radiator? I'm using a love joy coupler.

Why is that?
If there is any appreciable movement in and out between the drive end and the pump end it tends to destroy the rubber coupling. Just my experience in other applications. I have never seen them used in driving a front mount pump on a tractor. JUst sharing my opinion. Others here may not agree with me.
