Hey guys, I am new to the forum. Trying to sell my wide front modle H with a loader, chains and weights. Because I just picked up a 1960 ih 460. Unfortunately the 460 has a pretty sizable leak at the valve body. Is there anyone that can help me figure out my best course of action? Would like to get her going before the snow Flys.[/img:48e8fcfb7f]

Most likely is a blown Oring. Tearing it down and replaceing Orings is required. And that is a lot of work. Not hard, just takes time and a handful of O rings. However,it might simply be just a loose leaking fitting.Hopefully that is your issue. A closer inspection is needed.I am assuming
this is a Farmall with the valves in front of the steering wheel, and not a Utility with the valves under the seat.

Ditto on what Deltared said. On my 460 it was leaking on an
o-ring where a shaft come out for the draft control linkage.
It has been a few years ago, but as I recall it was kind of
tricky as there were gears on the shaft internally that had to
be properly timed. Get a manual to do the repair if thats the
issue,
