Friday the 18th through Sunday in the Beautiful Black Hills. East of Sturgis,SD beyond the Airport.

This is the first time I recall hearing about the Black Hills Steam and Gas Threshing Bee -- or for that matter, the Western Dakota Antique Club -- despite spending a whole lot of time driving on Highway 34 going to or coming from 44 Strategic Missile Wing facilities in the last half of the 1970s. Now that I know, I wish we could make it.

By the way, are there still pea-fowl on the radio-station grounds at the North-East corner of the Highway 34 / 79 intersection?
