JD 55 combine Oil send unit

Have a JD 55 Combine with HE 217 gas engine. Need a oil send unit. Will a a generic unit work or do I have to go with a JD one . If so what is JD part #..

I needed one for MF tractor, went to an auto parts store, put on, added a gauge that tells the oil pressure. No problem.

Sender and gauge have to match, Ohms range and pressure range.

Looks like they used two, need engine serial number to determine which is correct. One (AT11117) is still available from DEERE, the other is not.
