1970 Ford 8000

Hello I replaced the primer pump on my tractor and when bleeding the lines on top of injector pump I have one that won t seal now. It has diesel blowing by next to the pipe on the threaded fitting. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the right injector tubing. Thanks in advance

If you didnt take it all the way off and let some crud
in there, the line cracked next to the ball. You
NEVER loosen the injector line to prime that pump.
Loosen that 5/16 screw directly below your finger to
start those engines.

Loosen/tighten the line nut 5 or 6 times, it MIGHT seal after doing that. If not the line MIGHT be cracked just above the sleeve line Ferrel and need replaced.

I was asking for the prebent tubing. I will try and loosen and tighten it a couple more times tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for the info i was just going to replace the tubing if i could get the part and i know that would fix it.

i did take it all the way off i know after i saw it was leaking. i will pull it off again tomorrow and make sure it is all clean around the sealing surface in the nut.

They should be easy to find used. There
are several sitting in fence rows around
here. None of them belong to me.

I always just loosened the line at the injector to bleed if I need ed to. Though the Cats have a bleeder fitting at the injectors so I loosen them on those.
