I recently purchased a Oliver 1655 Gas Tractor the serial number is 251-520-490, it is having some fuel issues and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what carburetor would have been the correct original as I don't want to rebuild one that is not the correct one ?

What makes you think that's not the original carb? There are lots of fuel issues other than an incorrect carb.Do some trouble shooting first.

ditto

what is it doing? that would help with a diagnosis.

for example: does it start ok and idle ok but under load it sputters and looses power and quits? => likely low fuel flow from the tank.

My 1655 (1971) has tsx807 Runs very good with it is it original I do not Know. I
have a 1650 (1965) has the same carb also runs very good

no need to rebuild it, most like it needs a cleaning as with all carbs on many tractors that sit around. what is the plan on the rebuild?
most likely will need the throttle shaft bushings but that is more of an idle thing as they suck air in and they will not idle slow enough
with out stalling. it costs nothing but time to clean a carb if your careful, and make the bowl gasket and keep your gunk on hand.

This is my grandson's tractor which he took the carb off and I told him that I would do some checking to see if it was the correct carb before doing anything so I will have to talk with him more and get some specifics at to what it is actually doing.
