The 630 and I went to work

This is what I do to stay in shape. It also keeps the tractor in shape. There isn't a much better sound out there than a 2 cylinder JD pulling a load.

I'm not a JD guy but I always loved listening to them work. I like your wood stacking. If I did that I wouldn't get across my yard before it fell over. LOL

I agree! Just be careful. I had a B loaded with firewood on a wagon once. Pulling up a hill, front end started coming up. Gave me a little scare to say the least.

Nice looking 630, nothing runs like a Deere. My favorite brand for sure. I have an A, a 420T, 420W, a 40T, and a single wheel 40T, a 60 and a 520.

I had a similar situation with my farmall C.
When the front wheels come off the ground, you steer with the brakes and pucker up.

This is my setup mini excavator holds the logs off the ground while I cut them up then roll the heavy ones onto the loglift on the splitter I built back in 1985

that was the best color scheme just like the red with the white grill and inset on the 50 series IH both looked great to me. Likeed the smoother sound of the IH and Olives though. If I want to hear exhaust I will listen to old steamers for that.

Yes, that spreader is very tongue heavy. I used an old spreader like that until I wore it out. It will make my little JD 50 dance on the steep hills around here. That certainly is a sweet 630.
