I took the cab off of the 1850 to work on the pto and hydraulics. It sure looks different now

That would be OK until it's time to plow snow this winter, then the rattle trap is nice. I take the doors and all but the front window out in the summer and it makes a nice sun shade.

Id leave the cab off. I had tractors with the early cabs , better than nothing if you are going to be out on the tractor all day chopping corn or ploughing, but most of the year they are just loud rattle cans. Too hot in the summer, and awkward to get in and out of,

The motor is out of a MF 750 combine, put it in about 20 years ago. Runs great, no problems with it. Pump is not turned up. I made exhaust and reworked the air cleaner to fit. Sounds awesome!

Nice looking tractors.
Are Olivers more common in certain areas of the US?

I can't remember seeing any Olivers in my hood.

I can't rely on my memory either.
