Somebody Had A Bad Day

Saw this yesterday morning west of Edgington,Illinois on 192. The rear hopper broke loose and dumped corn all over the road. When we drove by there were 2 county deputies there along with 3 semis and a tractor and grain vac and several people deciding how to clean it up. I wonder if they blamed the driver ??

To save more of the corn they need a rotary broom to sweep it to the side of the road then pick it up as they drive slowly and then the last of it at a pile when done. Would seem like the easiest way. Swept off to the side of the pavement would save it from being drove on and then few debris when picked up with a vacuum.

About a month ago seen a load of hot asphalt spread out across three lanes. Didn't stick around to see how they cleaned it up but was by there a week later and only seen a few tire marks left from cleanup.
