Here's a few before pictures the way psimmer found it in all it's working glory and the same angle today. I went to put the decals on this morning and one is missing for each side. There should be a white stripe the full length of the hood behind where it says Oliver. It looks awful plain without it. I called Joy and she said she'd send them right out. It'll be eating at me until they're on there.

One thing about it, it has the original draft sensing center link. Those are all but impossible to find if it's missing. It's got a lot of paint flaws and a few incorrect parts, but let somebody who's ever seen one before point that out. I'm keeping my mouth shut.

After I got done with my first 500, I said I'd never tie in to one of these David Brown built Olivers again, but it gets easier every one that I do. I know where to get parts now and what mistakes will be covered up when it's all put together.

Looks nice, you do good work. You are probably the only one that will notice the paint flaws and after a while you will forget about them even being there.

I never saw any literature that showed them anything but green. I've only ever seen two other 600s though and both
were repaints.

They had a winning color combination for sure. It even made a red and yellow David Brown look good. LOL

Looks great. Now the joke....do these tires make my butt look fat? I only know because you told me:)

It looks great to me. I am happy I found it on a fluke, didnt know at the time which was more rare, 500 or 600. Once you told me it was a 600, I was more wanting tobfind who owned it and trying to get you and he talking. Glad you got it. Not sure about Mcbride yet, will have out of town company.

Checkerboard grill. I had a whole bunch of little holes to fill that somebody had drilled to put all those slats on there.

Bring them along Paul, everybody's welcome. If you see Jim by some odd chance, tell him about it.
