thought if he has some paddles on the rear wheels he could have put it in gear and go and use brakes to steer. but ya good job.
 
A neighbor in northern Indiana had a case combine that was outfitted with tires/wheels from military grass field bombers. He calculated it would float 60 inch diameter and 40 inches wide on drive wheels and 40 inches by 24 inches on the steering wheels. One wet fall he harvested about 500 acres with it driving through 4 to 8 inches of standing water. The beans were then dried before sale. but it was a harvest none the less. Jim
 
Back in the 1930's, West of me about 70 miles there was a guy that made a ferry boat across the Missouri River by Niobrara, Nebraska using a B John Deere and a flat bottom boat. I guess he made paddles on the JD wheels and he could haul two cars. It seems crazy but it was 70 or 80 miles to the next bridge so I guess it worked. He went across twice a day in good weather.
