John deere front seals

We just took the front hubs off of a john deere A that has rollomatic. There were a couple felt washers for the hub itself and a bigger one for the rollomatic itself that is further in. Does anyone know the part number for the bigger felt washer and where to get them. There are also a felt retainer that I need to get that I cannot find.

Have you checked with the John Deere dealer?

It's surprising how many parts they still have for this older stuff.

You can identify what you need below and find the parts numbers and check with them, or GOOGLE the part numbers to find out what may be out there.

Both available from Deere. # 4 is A 3474R and #5 is A3475R. Might have to check availability on them but they do show the pricing for them.

Thank you that helps alot. I would have went right to john deere but I didn't know exactly what they were called but I will have to check them out.

I use old furnace oil filter felts for a lot of things like that if you work with it you can get it to stretch out to amazing sizes and still be one piece and they can be layered off for thickness also. I made some for the spindle on a 1466 so went to about 1-1/4 or so from the 3/4 hole in it.
