Don't know about the wishbone, but that tractor should handle a 5 foot hog fine unless stuff is really tall.

The wish bone thing was to keep 3 point attachments squared behind the tractor, things such as 3 point planters etc. Eliminated the sway.

Thanks for info. This tractor had belonged to my farther in law who passed many years ago. I restored it and always wondered what is was for.

Your question has been answered, but I want to point out that your left-hand draft link (the part that attaches to and pulls the implement) is mounted wrong. They should attach at the tractor roughly parallel, not turned in as shown. Your photo doesn't clearly show the right-hand one. If it is turned in also, just swap them side-to-side.

If the right-hand link is okay, you could maybe turn the left one over. I realize that the small loop for storing the lynch pin would then be on the 'wrong' side. That would indicate you somehow have two right-hand links. Should be no problem in use, though.

I have a similar wihbone setup on my 430. If it is like that one it is not on right. The ends hooked to tractor should go on 3 pt pins, inside of 3pt arms and flat part would go to drawbar. looks like it would be pinned there. I don't use the one I have as it is hard to get set on right. It came on tractor I got from my uncle.
