The neighbor over here in Genesee County Mi does that all the time corn picking time I've seen as many as five empty wagons hooked together

(quoted from post at 07:49:18 06/21/23) Here in MN you can pull unlimited wagons as long as you have them in control. Not sure who determines what control is.
hat would be the guy filing the accident report.

I remember working for a neighbour back in the 70s and pulling 2 wagons. Each hopper wagon held 200 bushels so it was a good heavy load. Never got into any trouble with it but I can see plenty of potential problems looking back now. Climbing that steep hill out of the creek I think I was down to third gear and seeing the tires almost breaking traction in the hard clay/gravel.

Are you sure about that? Thought MN has a 2 hitch pin limit since the late 70s?

Before that there was a feed mill in a small town here that used barge boxes to move feed. They had 5 boxes hooked up and would more or less circle the block to move feed for their facility. Was neat to see the train move through. They did it all the time and were used to the cornering and all.

We took 3 wagons to my neighbor once, dad was reminding me to corner wide along the pasture fences on the field roads. We were all on private land.

We used to work together with Dad's cousin baling hay. We would move between farms with the tractor pulling the baler with two wagons hooked behind. Did that many times.

I had a Case 630 pulling a NI 1 row picker and a full wagon of corn.. Thought I'd
save some time and go up the hill through the fields rather than the long level way
around. Got about half way up that hill and the Case started spinning. I was able
to back up with enough attempts to where I could turn off the hill and go through
the field where it was leveler. I didn't save any time trying that hill.
