In wire brushing the rust off the hubs of this old trailer I'm working on, I discovered they are a "Hammer Blow Co" brand. Must be some old stuff, google didn't have much except "not made anymore."

A simple google leads me to believe some of their stuff became bulldog brand.

Yeah, I've heard of them. I think that they supplied ag manufacturers with jacks many years ago.

I'd say you're right. My bumper hitch stock trailer says Hammer Blow and also has a Bulldog picture in another spot.

"Must be some old stuff"

"Hammerblow" made some really good tuff stuff, and was around until about 1994, not sure what all happened with their demise.

"Bulldog" picked up the pieces and has at least SOME parts support, AFAIK.

Picked up an old 2 horse trailer made by "Easley Trailer Services and Welding" can't find any information about it but the axle/hubs are hammer blow. So refreshing to see anything similar.

Unfortunately I never found any further information on them, or a source for parts. I did see some similar axles at a junk auction but not quite the same and someone paid WAY too much for them.

Bearings are probably easy enough to cross but brake parts... forget about it.

Fortunately that trailer is someone else's problem now.
