How’s it going everyone! The name s Frank, live in Northern IL. I m a 1991 model year but seem to buy nothing but 40 s-70 s machines. I m a full time self-employed tractor jockey of sorts, but got my hands on some land a few years ago as an half-hearted excuse to start buying some tractors and teaching myself haying, planting, etc.

I ve referenced this forum for technical answers for a while now, but was watching Pete from Just A Few Acres Farm describe another members MCV adjustment process again and decided I should finally join up.

In the barn resides an H I ve put a fair amount of work into (WF swap, tires, weights, some M&W goodies). Pretty much any time I find an H with something nicer than what I have on mine I snag it, swap the parts and resell the "donor". A new-to-me F-14 and a Case 310 Utility (first "real" tractor). The WF H and 310 will be sold in my estate, the F-14 will probably eventually be replaced by an F-20.

I ve owned a 460, two 560 s and a 756 gasser as well as an 856 Diesel I should ve never sold. Briefly owned a 4020 Diesel Powershift as well. Currently hunting for a keeper 656, 706/756 (ideally) or 806/856 Diesel.

Thanks for keeping forums like this alive to hopefully let this knowledge carry on with us youngins.

Hello Frank welcome to YT! It seems you had a
bit of trouble with the pictures. I suspect you tried to
paste them as a file in the text area. Here is the short
rundown on picture posting. Pictures post through the
..Browse or Choose files.. button just below where it
says ..Upload Photos/Videos.. down lower in the ..New
post and reply windows, see the picture show an
example of how the this button looks on an iPhone.
Clicking that will give you a choice to select the file or
folder the pictures are stored in on your PC or phone.
Then select the photo from the file and ..Add.. it.

Yeah, I noticed I was having issues. I was trying to do it on my phone, saw the broken links and just left then until I can get on a computer and do it correctly!

Frank,

The problem with the photos was the new user status I think. I've removed that from your username so you should be able to post them now.

Photos also have to be smaller in size than some phones generate by default. You can have a total of 7mb worth of photos in one upload so for example, if each photo is 1 mb and post 10, that would go over the limit. The problem is that some high end phones will generate giant photos by default unless you change the camera settings. I always offer to resize the photos if people email them to me. Email is support at yesterdaystractors.com.

Welcome,
Chris
