Jon could probably use that 1030! Heres a Ford for Grandpa

It has an electric fan inside the shroud. I think the tag said 239 on the motor

..on it the tag said 239.. Yep, they designate them as a 4BT,
basically the same engine as the original 12 valve Cummins used in a Dodge pickup but the 4 cylinder version. I used to work at a bakery and some of our delivery vans had those engines. If I remember correctly they had 104hp on the tags on the turbo models. Not sure if that is a direct hp crossover to tractor hp ratings.

I have met the owner of that 1030, great guy to talk to with a nice collection. I would live to own it, but it will always be out of my price range.

That Cummins M either got some fresh paint for the show or does not ever run long enough or hot enough to burn the paint off of the manifold and turbo.
