I see the manual destroke valve for sale on Worthington and on ebay-BUT it doesn't show the tee handle on top. Is the one they show on say Worthington the complete unit????? I asked Worthington and they didn't know if it was a complete unit..Need some help and advice. thanks

Some of the destrokers have a hex head you use a wrench to turn or even a Allen socket head vs. the ''T'' handle

There's at least two different threads used, and they don't interchange.

There's also a long and a short version with the same threads that don't interchange.

Bottom line is that if your 4010 still has it's original ''non-serialized'' pump Deere part number AR33249 should be the destroker you need.

That part number is NLA from Deere, but subs to individual parts that ARE still available, AFAIK.

Jim, AFAIK (and I may be wrong) the RE13271 fits replacement pumps with serial number plate, but NOT the original 4010 pump IF that's what he still has.

The only place it's shown in the 4010 PC.

Tx Jim has a good picture that would be on top of pump left side of tractor regardless of whats in there thats the hole to use if you want to add a valve

It appears you're correct in that RE13271 only fits replacement pumps that have serial # plates. Thank you for identifying & correcting my mistake.

Jim, I always enjoy interacting with you on these Forums, we both do our best to put forth correct information.

I happen to have a couple of destrokers on the shelf, as I have had to figure out what fits what having installed a couple on various tractors in the last couple of years.

I believe I have correctly identified the one on the left (and it SHOULD fit an original 4010 pump).

There's a BIG difference in thread size between the that and the one on the right, for a serialized pump!

Thank you. I think tractor/equipment repair information should be as correct as humanely possible no matter whom is the author.. I never realized there was that much variation in thread size of the 2 different parts & pumps.

So the one I JUST ORDERED FROM WORTHINGTON probably won't work on the 3010 or 4010.......You fellas have been a great help... any chance a guy could put a threaded insert in the pumb if needed and install the part.....

If your tractor still has the original hydraulic pump the odds are against it being the correct part.

But parts descriptions on ag parts websites aren't always correct.

You won't know for SURE 'til you get the part.

As to making an adapter, if it doesn't fit, likely it will be a LOT bigger than the port it needs to fit into.
