First Time In The Field JD 335 Round Baler w- MF 1105

Firstly - thanks!

I asked a lot of questions about a John Deere 335 round baler I was buying from a friend. After much tinkering, finally put it to the field for a trial and a few round bales. The only issue I have is the twine arm needs adjusting to put the twine closer to the right side of the bale. Got a manual, think I know what to do. Question is - if I adjust twine to the right, presumably it will also move off the left edge? How close to the edge does your twine tied round bale set the twine? Is it even on both sides?

Round Baling

If I remember there are two arms you move to keep the twine more to the middle. One on each side of baler. To put more twine on the right side you must slow down the arm and adjust that the arm goes further forward when it comes to that side.Ad more twine as well as that doesnt look tied very well. I assume it is auto tie. Do not throttle down when tying

Nice video!! How many bales on how many acres?
After reading about how you adjust your tie arms, I think I'll stick with my
NH 1285 small square baler. I can generally fix a knotter.

My brother has a JD 335 and he finds it makes a better bale if you double up the windrows. His ties perfectly across the bale much better than his previous CIH RBX442/NH 630 round baler with electric tie.
