I would think that you would ant to be pulling at around 5,000 lbs. Thetr was a fellow in this area that did extremely well with his 44-6 . He would enter 2-3 classes the lightest being 5000.

its all low gear stuff in antique tractor pulling there is none of this high performance black smoke stuff. its about traction and power to the ground. as i said i am in class 3 with this massey. which is 6000-6999lbs.
