John Deere 14t baler

Last week I added this late model 14t
to my collection. Seems in good
condition. Hope to find out how it
works today. I have an older 14t with
the No 1 bale thrower that makes the
half size bales in my collection. I
plan to put the thrower on this one.

Probably around 10 years ago I saw an even nicer 14T at an auction at Rushville, NY. It brought 700 dollars and the collector in me cried as it was going home elsewhere than my place.

This one cost me $450. I think it has been setting for a long time. There was a huge paper wasp nest in the pickup but the residents had moved out thankfully. It was on an online auction and I bid without going to look at it which I rarely do. Another $20 and I would have been outbid. Tom

Good looking baler. I like it. It is getting hard to find equipment in that nice of condition. I was lucky to find a 24t baler in the very same condition as yours a few years ago

Spent many hours behind one of those in my teenage years on my Uncles farm stacking bales. It was lovingly referred to as the axx killer, and it was. A great machine that rarely missed a knot.

That was our first baler, later we had a 24T with a kicker. Several neighbors also had 14Ts, walked a lot of wagons behind one. That 14T always let you know when the hay had become to tough to bale. That looks like a nice late model.
