you need 4 or 5 post before you can post pictures...

I'm guessing here...
pressure plate springs or throw out bearing fork spring?

bearings from either throwout bearing or front trans bearing.

brass bushing, pilot bearing, throw-out fork bushing? front of trans idler shaft bearing from front of trans housing?

This is not the model that has the big rubber square access port on the side of the trans housing for cooling lines?? If so, there could be parts from a ufo dropped in there through that 4 inch access hole?

No access port, not the shaft bushing, the throw out bearing and pilot bearing are intact

That looks like a roller chain, maybe #40, fastener clip....while we're shootin' in the dark;-) Nothing like I've ever seen on a clutch though.

I took one apart one time and found a broken nose cone from a starter, so I don't know that a clip from a
connecting link means much in the whole scheme of things.

I would of recognized a clip off any master link. That is a spring 4 or 5 coils 2 of them along with a brass bushing and 4 roller bearings not tapered bearings but straight roller bearings. I can not see anyway that could be starter parts. the bushing is too small to be the clutch shaft bushing. I guess the next thing y'all need to know is I AM 63 YEARS YOUNG I have been working on mechanical things since I was a very young boy. just to clear up any misconceptions I was the tuner on a nitro Harley and ran my own twin engine gas Harley. So lets get a lot more in depth with the answers here. Please

You may not be new to mechanic work but you are clearly new to forums. Please try to have a little more patience because like you, nobody here has the entire parts book for the Ford 5600 memorized to be able to identify your parts from your rough description.

Without clear pictures of ALL the parts you found, for sure we're just guessing based on what could possibly fall into the bell housing. Even then the guesses can only get more educated. That's all we can do. As you've already seen, the picture you did include had EVERYONE identifying your "coil spring" as a roller chain master link clip. It looks exactly like a clip to me, and nothing like a coil spring.

Also please understand nobody here can read minds. We have no idea your level of experience based on your one-sentence original post. Please do not get upset if the answers do not "respect" your experience.

Im sure the one part you pictured in your fingers looks different in 3d there in front of you.

But look at the picture yourself. Forget what you know; just look at your own picture here.

It looks like a flat roller chain clip but doesnt have the split in it. But that is the closest thing to what it looks like!

If I blow up the pic on my iPad and reading your other messages I can slightly see some of the coils you mention, but would not guess that without your comments.

So, that is some small squarish rectangular, not round, small spring? Doesnt look like it in the one picture at first glance!

It would help to have that info early on. Then we can help you better.

All kinds of folk with all levels of experience - or none at all - come and ask questions.

Many of us like to try to help, but its our free time. We need more info and more pictures to help us help you. Or we move on.

Sure is an odd little spring thing?

I posted it on hay talk and thought I TRANSFERRED ALL THE PICS OVER BUT i DID NOT. GOSH DARN STICKING SHIFT BUTTON. I am sorry if I offended anyone I did not intend to

Is that bushing about 5/16-3/8 inside and 7/16-1/2 outside
The flat spring and rollers look like they are from an exploded starter bendix
Bushing could be out of the back of the starter

The bushing looks very much like the nose cone bushing from a Lucas M50. The other stuff I would venture may be from an exploded
drive. I really can't say for sure. I guess I wouldn't give it too much thought if everything works and nothing leaks...

Could the parts be from the inside of a starter drive
one way clutch often in ..mechanics speak.. called a
bendix? Maybe got launched in there and broke to
pieces? Maybe some parts of it were fished out but
these remained?
Edit: Darn missed D-450s post, sorry!
