Does it have a oil pressure guage? I'm guessing low oil pressure. When is it on?

Son was brush hogging went through a ditch and it came on. Wasnt sure what it was. Its full of oil

Oil pressure warning light. If he was mowing in tall brush or near low tree limbs, a branch might have snagged the wire off of the oil pressure switch on the engine.

I have also had the oil pressure switch fail suddenly, it is located on top of oil filter housing with a single wire on it .
IIRC, ground the wire will turn on the light.
Same switch as used on older cars so local auto parts store may have a replacement.
But as other Poster said check the wire first.

Right to left:
restricted air filter
low engine oil pressure
low voltage

Low oil pressure light. I would get a good gauge and put in one of the oil galleys and see what that syas along with the wire check. A live gauge doesn't lie on what is happening. NO need for a lot of line just read it right on the side of the block. IF not sure where to put it just replace the sender with it for a check then switch back for the wire.
