Going to try to explain this--have a pic on my phone but can't figure out how to get it on here. On the left side of the tractor there is a big hose with 3 bolts on the botttom in front of the torque housing and the hose on the top fits into a fitting. This fitting has a SWIVEL that has a fitting with an O ring on it. The hose is at least a foot long maybe longer. It is leaking at the SWIVEL. IT is one complete unit...Can it be repaired??? Can a new one be bought??? thanks for any info. I can send a pic to a phone number. len in michigan

It is that hose right in front of the rear tire with the silver color on the bottom....

I had a 504 for years. Any good hose shop can make any hose with proper connections for that tractor. Take the old hose to them for reproduction.

Is that a high pressure or just a low pressure suction hose Leonard? There are two real big hoses like that on the oil cooler of my White 2-105. I looked on Agcopartsbooks and they showed a crimped hose like the ones on mine, then a later one with two barbed fittings and a piece of hose clamped to them. That one wouldn't run more than 40-50 PSI of engine oil pressure, so I took a small die grinder and cut the old press fittings down to the barbed fittings, then went to town and got a piece of hydraulic return hose and some clamps. That one's been just fine for a fair amount of time now. If yours is a return hose, you might get away with making one like I did.

Not sure if that is still available any more or not , that is your main hyd line coming from the pump to the flow divider . I have seen where guys have either made up and new mounting plate to the pump housing with the O/Ring groove cut into it to seal and had the plate made to take a normal pipe thread with the o/ring swivel for the other end . That hose is like a 1 1/8th maybe a 1 1/4 high pressure hose . A hose capable of atleast 2450 PSI is needed but a 3250 would be better .

there was an ad in red power magazine for a place called New Hydraulics they can repair or make a new hose their number is 920 231 0124.

If you could get a swivel that comes tight when you tighten the hose up would solve the swivel leaking. It will also let you swivel to get it together and still tighten the hose. you would have to tighten the non swivel end first then the swiveled end first. You should be able to get that made at your local hydraulic hose shop. You would need to tel them to put the different swivel on it or you will get the same one that is on there. As for the o-ring if it is leaking nuder the end where it goes yes you could just change the o-ring and solve the problem. Will need to clean it up to tell which it is. Like TV said you probably want a 3000PSI hose or more. on that.
