my old boss got this at his church. a member died . his widow gave a few of his tools away n this 1 he brought home. its got a brand too. google search turned up nothing. it appears to be new

Fairmont made tools for railroad maintenace and electrical installation, like Greenlee does.

Fairmont also made body work tools
maybe it slides over an edge of something , to straighten it ?
Fender lip, bumper edge , frame end.? springs?

FAIRMOUNT was one of the many suppliers to FORD for tools but being the former editor of NAFTCO (National Ford Tool Collectors) and publisher of 'FORD TOOL TIMES' I can say I have never seen this ad nor this tool. It may not be a FORD tool but some suppliers only made special tools for use in the Rouge, Highland Park, and Romeo factories. I'll scan and send to the current editor for possible inclusion in the next FTT issue as maybe another member can ID it.
