hopefully somebody can chime in got a gehl 1875 roller that when tying the roll twine arms stop in the middle for 10 to 20 seconds before taking off again to finish the cycle, this is in auto tie mode. in manual mode they perform as they should but in automatic its absolutely sewing it on the bales, we have turned all the adjustable settings down on the monitor side and still no luck, they things performs great other than twine issue. any help would be appreciated

We have an 1865, but use manual tie. We bought it used,
and I wasnt aware these balers were able to have an
automatic tie. rrlund who sometimes posts here and on
the Oliver board I believe has a Gehl. Hopefully he sees
this and can help.

It should move as soon as the twine starts to travel. Are both twines traveling alright? Is the twine up over the
little black wheel on each side? It won't move unless both twines are traveling.

Yes sir twine is one both wheels and moving across each one. Is it possible there is a pause switch out of adjustment.

I don't know that there are any switches, just sensors. I had to change mine to twine wheels with two magnets
instead of one so it would trick the computer in to thinking it was putting on twice as much twine as it was, but
it still shouldn't pause that long after the twine starts feeding on the bale. There is a twine arm position
sensor. I suppose that could be a problem. Check your manual to see where it is. If that's not communication with
the twine travel sensors, that might be holding it up too long.
